Screenshots

So, I decided to give the new Map a test run, and then Take some Screenshots with a bit of population in them.





So, As you can see, i'm getting close to the demo Release, and honestly, I cannot wait!
Still, there is a lot to be done before I release it, so don't push me! ;)

New Look, New Map

I'm trying a new look for the Blog, and I'm going to make sure to post even more now. I feel 10 x more inspired lately, and I've been doing lots of planning lately. hopefully this will speed up the game's progress even more. Anyways, Here's a new screenie of MAYBELL!

Maybell Video

Well, I Finally got ONE screen recording software to work. So i decided to try it out with the newest Complete map.



Some of the Objects were a bit too large, so I'm going to get them fixed.

Also, I've started a new method of animating my Characters in battle. I'll be doing this personally and have fluid animations with not 4 or 5 frames, but 12 and so on! expect a little battle animation Demo soon!

And Last, but not Least, my SFX artist is doing the second batch of Spell FX. this time EARTH based spells that range from Vines with thorns, to Pebbles and Earthquakes!

Introducing...Rumi!

Today, I woke up to see a nice little surprise in my Inbox. Not only were Dylan's Basic Animations complete, but I also got Rumi's Standing Animation!

I also got a new Map, which i'll be showing in-game when I complete the Collision Map for it.

I'm currently working on:
  • Adding Weapon Graphics to Dylan's Animations.
  • Setting up the New Maps to work in-game

Musician

Map - Lookin' Good

After days of testing and playing around with the Maps' style, the new artist finally hit the spot. it only took him 2 tries to get it perfect. What he achieved was a beautiful, afternoon kinda feel with a touch of soft focus and shadows. Of course, I made sure to attach a little sample of how things are looking...


After finally getting some of the Battle Characters, I realized that they were much bigger than I had even thought of, much more detailed! I was so happy to see that my artist had decided to take some artistic freedom and made something much better than expected!
